Our rental house now looks lived in! We have all the boxes unpacked that we'll unpack for now... and now our little clutter piles are piling up here and there, which looks just like us!
Last week I noticed our guest book and realized NO one has been to our house yet. Plumbers don't count. And having several reminders of our friends from Decatur, I was really missing having people we know at our house. My parents were coming this last weekend because it was the "only time" they could come. So I was looking forward to that and seeing how having company works at this house.
BUT I hadn't invited anyone yet because I was a wee bit afraid of Dave having people over close to my birthday. So after finding out about a "Family Skate" at the local roller rink, I was convinced to go roller skating. Which was great fun, especially with a lot of great friends!

And then it turns out that those people and more were going to be at our house for supper! I not only got to see great friends, we got to spend even more time together!! It wasn't exclusive visiting, but we got to chat a bit and people got to see where we live! (Ack! Look at all these people in this little house!)
Now I know who I still need try to manage to get up to see us! :-)
Thanks to everyone who made it such a great time and who wanted to be with us!
Some more pictures to share real quick...

In the end, you'll know which people really love you. They're the ones who see you for who you are and no matter what, always find a way to be at your side.
