I'm starting to wonder why they call summer break "Summer Vacation." Seriously. A vacation from school, yes, I understand that. But it has been NON-STOP this first month. And we haven't really gone anywhere! We did spend a weekend in Indianapolis with my family, had Father's Day lunch with Dave's family, library programs to attend at least 1x/week, park program 1x/week, swimming lessons 1x/week, 3+ days to the Y for workouts, meeting, cleaning, anticipating vacation (researching, planning, starting to pack, etc), appointments, garage sale, and-Phew!- I think that's about all of what June consisted of.
So now our vacation is just around the corner- our 10 year anniversary trip to Europe! The boys are slightly upset that they don't get to go on planes and trains with us, but they are looking forward to time with both grandparents. That just shows how well we rank!!
Maybe next post will have something interesting instead of blah blah summer stuff!

10 years! Congrats and what a great idea to go to Europe. We have a need for a "big" vacation one of these days.... we'll have to hear all about yours when you get back! Your little men are getting so big, wow! I was looking at some pictures of Julia, Sam and Collin at Allerton Park... leetle teeny babies! And now they are SIX!
ReplyDeleteWell, we hope to get up there this year.... eventually... still in the plans. I will be SURE to let you know when the plans firm up to reality, so we can maximize hanging out. Maybe Allerton Park again?? =)
