Whew!

After a whirlwind of a week, I finally have a minute (or less) to sit and say a few words.  "A few words."  Just kidding!

Since the beginning of this month, we had Mom & Dad here for the weekend, Mom here for the week, coughs and colds, stress, and a trip to Oklahoma and back.  And my head is still spinning from all I have to do the rest of today, this week, and this month!  I sometimes find it funny that I have so many lists, but it's the only way I can keep things straight!  And I write nearly everything down that I have to do... people to call, email, or otherwise communicate with, chores that need done this week, activities going on, etc.  My calendar is overflowing with people we need to send a letter back to or notes from places we need to go.  So after being gone, it takes me a while to get back onto the merry-go-round.  Wonder why they call it "Merry?" :-)

Mom and I had a great trip to Oklahoma to see Eric & Jennifer and their kids.  After having a redneck going away party for them, I think we were welcoming them into the redneck valley instead of hoping they'd never see the redneck stuff from around here again!  I actually think it's everywhere, and it wasn't horrible down there, but we saw some things!

The kids had a lot of fun together... all fighting colds/allergies, so that made it a little interesting!  But they were glad to see each other and we're going to have to plan to go back before too long!
